Woke is no Joke

 Former President Donald Trump famously said, "Go woke and go broke." If you have had your head in the sand for the last decade, you might be the only person in Western Civilization not to have heard of the woke movement.

The woke movement has brought us the most extreme left agenda we have ever seen in things like race relations, so-called global warming, gay and transgender extremes, gender confusion, and on and on and on. 

It is such a serious issue that some, like Elon Musk, have labeled it the "Woke Mind Virus," and he says it is the single biggest threat to the world, trumping even nuclear war in his mind. Is he right? It is undoubtedly worse than many of us want to admit or perhaps worse than we understand. 

In a recent interview with Joe Rogan, Elon talked about how the woke mind virus has all but destroyed a large part of San Francisco, CA. Which would be a problem all in itself had the damage been limited to that city. But those behind the woke movement have been able to spread their message to all corners of the globe through social media, namely Twitter. Which, by the way, is why Elon bought Twitter, now X.

Elon said that he bought Twitter because he believed it was having a corrosive effect on civilization. Most people, including myself, did not know that Twitter was a far-left megaphone. When discussing the far left, you need to understand what that means. 

If you are a member of the far left, you don't just hate the far right; you hate anything and anyone that is even slightly right of your position. So, to a far-left thinker, a moderate liberal is far-right of their position. In other words, they don't tolerate anyone who doesn't walk in lockstep with them. Extremes are always dangerous, and the far left is very dangerous. 

What makes them so dangerous. One word: control. They control most social media, broadcast and print media. Their tentacles run deep, and they have one central goal, and that goal is one of the most extreme that you can imagine. 

What is that goal? It is the human extinction. Wait, what? Extinction? Yes, you read that correctly. They want to do everything they can to bring about the end of human life on earth. Does that sound extreme or like an outrageous claim? Then, you need to do some digging of your own. This extinction mindset has made its way to the front page of the New York Times. 

November 23rd, 2022, The New York Times featured an article titled "Earth Now Has 8 Billion Humans. This Man Wishes There Were None." This piece was about the founder of the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement, Les Knight. They even have their own website that is as pathetic as their philosophy. 

How do things like this even get traction? That is an excellent question. I don't pretend to have the answer to that. The woke mind virus and the voluntary human extinction movement are closely linked. That is about all I can say for sure. I do have my own theory. Hang on, it is a doozy. 

Movements like these are all born out the the same thing that the members of these groups would surely disagree with, mainly because they are incapable of seeing the root cause themselves. That root cause is hatred, not of mankind per say, but the creator of all men, God. But this group has no real knowledge of God nor do they, on a personal level care about the things of God or faith. 

I pray for these folks. I believe they are under the influence of Satan himself. Satan has found a way to indoctrinate them with hate, and not just hate in general but hate of the things that God holds most precious, and that is man. If Satan can get them to destroy their fellow man then he feels that he can wound God. 

How can these folks be part of this and not know it? I believe it is because Satan is a liar. He has blinded them by giving them a great delusion. A mass delusion if you will. I think these folks really believe they are on the side of right and good. They cannot understand how anyone can appose them. This delusion is their greatest weakness. It puts them in more danger than they can fathom. But not danger from men, but if they continue on this course they will be judged and condemned by God for their actions. Again, I know they don't care, because God is just a thing of fantasy to these groups. 

So, yes, I pray for them. I want to encourage you to do the same. I know it can be very temping to return hate for hate. But that is not the way to defeat evil. You have heard the phrase, "Fight fire with fire!", but that just creates more heat and more damage. Also I want you to understand that God calls on us to love our enemies, to do good to those that hate us, and to turn the other cheek. How can we turn the tide of hate with more hate? The only way to stim the tide is with love. Love them enough to pray for them daily. Love them enough to tell them God loves them and so do you. Even if they reject that, make that your message. 

If good is to win over evil, then good has to show the world there is a better way. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." What He means by that, is first, He is the way to God. He said, "No man can come to the father, but by me." the Way. Second, He is the truth because the things He said during his time here on Earth were truth, and those things did not come from him but God: "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak." John 12:49. Third, He is the life because those that believe in Him and accept His free gift of salvation will gain eternal life, and you will go to live in Heaven for the all of eternity, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14: 3.

The woke mindset it no joke. But it is also nothing new. Since man fell from grace in the Garden of Eden man has been at war with God. Men hate God because man wants to be his own god. Man doesn't even want to acknowledge that God exists. This is nothing man came up with all on their own. No this comes directly from their father the devil. He is the one behind the scenes pushing the buttons and pushing man to his own doom. 

Satan hates God and everything God created. Satan himself challenged God and thought he could take God's place and sit on His throne. But like all of creation, Satan found out that God is not to be mocked. He and his angels were cast out of Heaven for their rebellion. They were cut off from the glory of God and eternity. The devil knows he is running out of time. The time for him and all of those who follow him to be judged is quickly approaching. He has one goal, since he knows he cannot defeat God, he wants to take as many of the men who will follow him down with him to try to wound God. His time will end and he will lose in glorious fashion. 

Jesus is also preparing to return. This time, not a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths. No, this time He will come as a conquering King. He will put down all who oppose Him and rid the world of evil once and for all.

My prayer for you is that your eyes will be open to the truth. That God will remove your blinders so you can see that you have a need for a savior. God loves you. He wants the best for you, but to get it you have to repent and turn from your wicked ways. You must bow and kneel and ask Jesus Christ to come and be your Lord and Savior. This could be your last or one and only warning. Don't reject it. Life as a believer in Jesus Christ is unlike anything you have ever experienced. It is the only way to have true peace.
